WHY JOIN? 

APHSA is more than just a group of students and professionals within the healthcare profession. It is comprised of individuals and institutions who together create a network that empowers you with the resources and support that you need in your role within the healthcare profession. APHSA members share your devotion to the field, as well as the opportunities and challenges you face. APHSA membership gives you access to programs, events, and publications designed to support your personal development. It’s the tools and support you need to grow, and the connections to support you along the way.

Members of APHSA are referred to as "Fellows." When granted, the letters FAPSHA (Fellow of the American Pre-Health Students Association) after an individual's name mean that the student's education, professional qualifications, and ethical conduct have passed a rigorous evaluation, and have been found to be consistent with the high standards established and demanded by APHSA.

Institutional Fellows

APHSA's institutional members come from across the country. An APHSA institutional membership demonstrates commitment to the advancement of the health profession. All community colleges, four-year institutions, graduate and professional schools are welcome to join the fastest growing network of health professionals from around the country and eventually, the world. 

Organizational Fellows

All corporations, non-profits, and other entities working within the health professions are invited to become organizational members. By joining APHSA, you'll have exclusive access to students and professionals across the country. 

Professional Fellows

All professionals, faculty members, directors, and advisers who are involved in the health profession will have the ability to network with each other, as well as students who desire to enter the field of health. Professional membership will give you access to a network of campuses and organizations around the country, all with a commitment to personal and professional development for both you and the students you serve. 

Student Fellows

Of all of our members, students are the most important. This organization was started BY students FOR students. All undergraduate and graduate strudents who aspire to careers in healthcare are welcome to join an affordable network that will help pave your path to becoming a professional within the healthcare profession.
